A group of Houston juniors competed in the Cleveland Midwest Gold tournament last weekend. This is one of the highest tier of junior tournaments behind only the Junior Championship Tour and National Championships. Gold tournaments give the opportunity for competition with some of the best players in the country, as well as valuable national ranking points.

Daksha Pathak won the GU19, playing in this category for the first time.

Alex and Charlotte Mehnert competed in the BU13 and GU11 respectively, with Marco DiFilippo in the BU15.

All played hard and won some great games against quality opponents.
