Over the last week Alister Walker has been spending time coaching Houston’s future squash stars. Alister is a former World No.12 ranked squash player who has represented England at the European and World Championships. He has an immense amount of experience in the squash world and Houston’s juniors were lucky enough to learn from him.

He ran two coaching workshops at Mission Squash where the scholars had a theme each day. On Thursday they focused on ‘Length’ and on Friday they focused on the ‘Straight Drop Shot’. The Mission Squash Scholars has a great time and got a chance to ask questions in the Q&A session at the end of the workshop.

Alister also coached juniors from all over Houston in small group squads and individual private lessons. The feedback was very positive and we hope to have Alister back to Houston in the future!
